Aura Canela – Video Editor I’m a video editor and storyteller from the Dominican Republic, currently based in Bali. I have over 15 years of experience editing documentaries, commercials, video essays, and experimental films. My approach combines technical precision with emotional sensitivity. I work with a strong sense of rhythm and intuition, aiming to create edits that are clear, coherent, and emotionally grounded. I studied Audiovisual Communication at Santo Tomás College in Chile and worked as a producer for six years before transitioning fully into post-production. My background in production informs my understanding of storytelling and collaboration throughout all stages of a project. I work remotely with clients and collaborators around the world, bringing a global perspective shaped by my Caribbean heritage, years of travel, and a deep interest in music, color, and layered narrative work.
